Chemically altered instrumentals are the name of the game with this Melbourne, Australia, quintet, whether it's old school 'Lust for Life'-era Iggy Pop riffing on 'Hey, Let Me In (T-1)' or some low-key Tortoise maneuvers on the eight minute 'Sundowner'. The Velvet underground influenced 'Noah's Ark' provides guitarist Andrew Tanner with his sole shot at vocalizing, and the only way to describe the result is a curiously refreshing blend of the Green Pajamas' Jeff Kelly and Sting.
